Can I bring my other chidren to class?
Other family members may attend the family time portion of class in Levels 3 -5.
Level 2 classes require each child to be registered to attend the class. Babies under the age of 1 may attend a Level 2 class at no charge when accompanying an older sibling.*
When you have siblings enrolled in their own respective age appropriate and current Kindermusik Stepping Stones class, they are allowed to come to their siblings class for free as a courtesy to the parents.
Each Kindermusik level has its own age appropriate focus and is best for target audiences. That being said, any music making is better than none if you choose to do one class for all.
*There are also concessions for an older sibling having a PD day off from school.
Can I bring my child's grandparent?
Class is typically inclusive of one grown-up and their enrolled child. That being said, if your child's grandparent is visiting from out of town or wants to see their beloved grandchild in action, by all means bring them to come and make music with us for that special occasion.
Oops, I missed the beginning of the semester. May I join at any time?
Of course. While you will have missed out on the opening lessons, you are welcome to begin the process of learning at any time. The cost of tuition can be pro-rated to reflect the classes that have already happened.
What if I try the class and find that it isn't what we were expecting...can we get a refund?
We offer an opportunity to have a preview class if you desire. Classes are offered on a first paid enrolment basis, however, and families waiting for a preview before signing up may be disappointed to find out that their preferred time slot is no longer available following a preview. I encourage families to enroll early to avoid situations like that. If you are unhappy after and up to 4 successive classes, I will refund you for classes not yet taken. The home materials are yours to keep and enjoy.
Can I do make-up classes?
Some classes have more than one time option during the week. If you will be away or are feeling unwell during your regularly scheduled class, you can come to an alternate time if available.
I would love to join, but I need some payment flexibility. What options do you have?
Registration forms need to be accompanied by a registration deposit of $75 to hold your place. I accept cash, cheques, and email transfers. Credit card payments are available when you register online and requires full payment at the time of registration. Once you submit your registration form, you can email transfer your deposit to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The balance is then forwarded by the time of the first class, either as cheque, cash, or email transfer. If you require another option, please speak to Heather personally for your best direction.
